Moving On

This morning I got to take another scary test! Except this time, rather than a comprehensive overview of Italian grammar, it was a few well-chosen questions covering the tricky subjects we've been reviewing in class. It's a lot to keep straight in my head, especially since I haven't really done this before. We were all pretty stressed out, but we had a good bit of teamwork before class as we all helped each other cram. But it sounds like we did all right, as we're all moving up! (At least, I think we are. She never explicitly said, "Great! Y'all are going to C1!" But that's sort of the impression I've gotten.) We get a new teacher on Monday, but it sounds like my classmates and I get to stay together- at least, those who aren't leaving.

Speaking of leaving, my classmates Tria and Lena-Lisa (from my second class) finish this week. We all started together, and for the first week it was just the three of us in class. So we've become pretty good friends, and although I am enjoying the company of my other classmates, it won't be the same without them! Tria actually finished today, so we had to stick around to say goodbye. At least we managed to have some fun on her last day, each talking about a prompt from a piece of paper we were given. Oh, the stories we tell! This class just keeps getting better and better.

After a long day, I retired to my room for an evening of Doctor Who. Regrets? None.
