I definitely earned some Brownie points in class today when I turned out to be the only one who had done my homework! (I wish I got actual brownies, but alas no.) So I got to read my nice neat pre-written paragraph to the class, while everyone else had to make stuff up on the spot. Therefore, since they are all likely to do tonight's assignment, I have found another way to suck up to my teacher. We were instructed to write a biography for someone famous from our country, and who should I choose but Walt Disney? So not only am I writing about one of my favorite people through history, but I'm reusing my old government PowerPoint (with lots of cool pictures) to entertain my classmates. Definitely one of my better projects.
In my second class, we actually spent an hour and a half talking about the weather- mainly extreme weather conditions like hurricanes, earthquakes, and the like. Our substitute likes to talk, and even when she poses questions to us, she elaborates so much on the point she is trying to make that it takes several minutes before you can respond. She's nice and everything, don't get me wrong, but I don't feel like we've done as much talking lately.
It downpoured just as I was on my way home, but I've been here all night working on this Disney project. Hopefully it goes well tomorrow!
Funny that you spend so much time talking about inclement weather and then it downpours... Good luck on your project!
